§ A $30 fee is required for participants riding a MBR lesson horse. The fee does not apply to leasees.

Event Information

· Registration opens at 8:00 a.m. Show starts at 9:00 a.m.

· Pre-registration entry fee (due two days before show): $12 per class and horse/rider combination.

· Post-registration entry fee: $15 per class.

· Lesson Horse fee: $30 for use of Moss Beach Ranch lesson horse. Leasees are not required to pay fee.

· Ribbons for first through fifth place. High point award to horse and rider accumulating the highest number of points - 5 for first, 4 for second, etc.

· General US Equestrian Federation Rules apply.

· All Classes will be ridden in numerical order unless otherwise posted on day of show.

· The Show Management reserves the rights to cancel, combine, or split classes when warranted.

· Entry fees are non-refundable unless a doctor's restriction or veterinarian's certificate is provided.

· Checks should be made payable to Moss Beach Ranch.

· Please clean up after your horse. Do not litter!

· Keep small children supervised for their safety.

· Dogs are NOT allowed on grounds.

· Trailer and car parking is limited. Please park ONLY in designated areas. Arrange car-and-trailer pooling whenever possible.

· Refreshments will be available on grounds. Tap water is NOT for human consumption.

· You may use the ranch hitch racks to tie your horses. Please do not tie to fences.

· Classes will be held in the 20-meter x 60-meter sand arena unless otherwise specified.

Assumption of Risk, Waiver, and Indemnification

I agree in consideration for participation in this Moss Beach Ranch sponsored equine competition to the following:

§ That I choose to participate voluntarily in this Equine Competition as a rider, lessee, owner, agent, coach, trainer, or as a parent or guardian of a junior exhibitor. I am fully aware and acknowledge that horse sports and the Competition involve inherent dangerous risks of accident, loss, and serious bodily injury including broken bones, head injuries, trauma, pain, suffering or death (“Harm”).

§ To release Moss Beach Ranch from all claims for money damages or otherwise for any Harm to me or my horse and for any Harm caused by me or my horse to others, even if the Harm resulted, directly or indirectly, from the negligence of people or persons connected to Moss Beach Ranch.

§ To expressly assume all risks of Harm to me or my horse, including Harm resulting from the negligence of Moss Beach Ranch.

§ To indemnify (that is to pay any losses, damages, or costs incurred by) Moss Beach Ranch and to hold them harmless with respect to claims for harm to me or my horse, and for claims made by others for any Harm caused by me or my horse at the Competition.

§ That I understand that I am entitled to wear protective equipment without penalty and I acknowledge that Moss Beach Ranch strongly encourages me to do so while WARNING that no protective equipment can guard against all injuries.

§ If I am a parent or guardian of a junior competitor, I consent to the child’s participation and AGREE to all of the above provisions and AGREE to assume all of the obligations of this Release on the child’s behalf.

§ That “Moss Beach Ranch” as used above includes all of their officials, officers, directors, employees, agents, personnel, volunteers, and affiliated organizations.

I represent that I have the requisite training, coaching and abilities to safely compete in this Competition. By signing below, I agree to be bound by all applicable rules and all terms and provision of this entry form.
