Jeanette is a CHA certified instructor and specializes in English-style riding and jumping with students ranging in age (eight to adult) and skill level (beginner through advanced). She has nearly 20 years experience teaching and training and, prior to joining Moss Beach Ranch, has directed riding programs for ranches in Woodside and Los Altos.
A graduate of UC Davis, Jeanette is an active member of the San Francisco Horsemen's Association. She is the founder of the Coastside Horse Show series, a multi-barn schooling show series for western and English riders and regularly organizes and leads camping/trail riding events each summer.
Born and raised in Cologne, Germany, Jeannette's "horse addiction" started when she was just six years old and has only gotten stronger as an adult. Her vision for the Moss Beach Ranch program is to keep kids involved in healthy, out-door activities while promoting talent and rewarding commitment.

Dawn Grover, Instructor
Email Dawn
I feel so fortunate that I am able to combine my passion for horses and teaching in such a beautiful setting.
Possessed by a lifelong passion for horses Dawn began her teaching career over 20 years ago with the United States Pony; ten years ago she became the head instructor for the MVPC. Dawn has been the head instructor and director of the very popular Moss Beach Ranch Horse Camp for the last 5 years. Dawn also teaches private and group English lessons focusing on a basic balanced position and the overall care, maintenance and responsibility of horsemanship. She always seems to have a group of kids "helping out at the barn," as she strongly believes in mentoring and giving back to the community.
When Dawn is not teaching she can be found training her Oldenburg gelding "Waverly" in the upper levels of dressage. Dawn has competed extensively in dressage and qualified horses and competed in CDS and USDF championships. She is an USDF bronze medalist. Dawn is also a devoted mother slash groom attending A and B rated hunter/jumper shows helping Rachel and Austin pursue their passion.
